Joseph Merszei

Joseph Rosa Merszei (born April 6, 1974 in Hong Kong ) is a Macau racing driver .

Career

Merszei competed in Asian touring car racing series between 1991 and 1996 . He then took part in the Macau Grand Prix , a Formula 3 race, from 1999 to 2007 . He achieved his best placement in 2001 with a twelfth place. He also took part in two races of the Asian Formula 3 championship in 2005 and two races each of the Asian Formula Renault Challenge in 2007 and 2009 .

In 2009 he made his debut for Engstler Motorsport in the World Touring Car Championship (WTCC) and from 2009 to 2011 took part in the Macau event on the Guia Circuit in a BMW 320si .
