Tom Kapinos
Tom Kapinos (born July 12, 1969 in Levittown , New York ) is an American television producer and screenwriter . He is the creator of the television series Californication and Lucifer .
Career
Kapinos began his television career in 1999 as a screenwriter and executive producer for the drama series Dawson's Creek . He then created his first own series, Californication , for which he was responsible as executive producer and lead screenwriter from 2007 to 2014. After its end, in 2015 he adapted the figure of Lucifer, invented by Neil Gaiman and appearing in a comic series (by Mike Carey), for the television series of the same name .
