Tom Nattermann (born April 16, 1993 in Riesa ) is a German soccer player . The striker has been under contract with the regional league club 1. FC Lokomotive Leipzig since 2020 .

Career

Nattermann began his football career in the youth of Grün-Weiß Miltitz, before joining FC Sachsen Leipzig in 2002 at the age of nine , where he went through all other youth teams up to the B-Juniors. In 2009 he moved to the newly founded RB Leipzig as part of a total of four youth teams . In the 2009/10 season he was the captain of the B-Juniors. In the following season he was active for the A-Juniors under coach Tino Vogel and in the summer of 2011 he took part as a test player in the 73rd Blue Stars / FIFA Youth Cup in the U-19 games of Red Bull Salzburg . In the 2011/12 season he made it to the Bundesliga with the A-Juniors in Leipzig. In total, Nattermann scored 41 times for the U-17 and U-19 in 59 games.

After taking part in the first team's training camp in Belek, Turkey, in the summer of 2012, Nattermann was the first young player of his own to receive a professional contract from RB Leipzig. However, after injuring his shoulder in one of the preparation games against SG Union Sandersdorf , he could not play for the first team as planned. On November 4, 2012 he was the first time for the second team on the field. After he had only played two games for the second team until 2015 and only played one test match with the first team against Pogoń Stettin in September 2014, he moved to the third division for the 2015/16 season, relegated to the second division FC Erzgebirge Aue , where he received a two-year contract. In January 2016 he was loaned to FC Carl Zeiss Jena . In March 2016 he scored his first goal for Jena. By the end of the season he came on twelve missions, in which he scored three goals. In July he was signed by Energie Cottbus. On matchday 12, he was used for the first time in the 1: 2 defeat against Berliner AK 07 and was only a substitute player for the season. By the end of the season, he had eight appearances in seven substitutions. During the summer break of 2017, he moved to league rivals VfB Germania Halberstadt . For the 2018/19 season he moved to SV Babelsberg 03 . In summer 2020 he followed his coach Almedin Civa to 1. FC Lokomotive Leipzig .
