Tom Schuman
Tom Schuman (born January 31, 1958 in Buffalo , New York ) is an American jazz and fusion pianist.
The father Wally Schuman was a jazz bassist, the mother Marion Schuman a jazz singer. First appearances took place with the band "The Existing Reality" and later with the jazz band "Birthright". With this formation, Tom Schuman toured Europe as a 16-year-old on promo with the record Breath of Live . Since the founding of the fusion group Spyro Gyra , Schuman has been involved in jam sessions alongside founding member and pianist Jeremy Wall, and from 1978 a permanent member, keyboardist and composer of Spyro Gyra. Schuman runs his own production company “JazzBridge Music LLC” and “SchuBox Studios”. So far he has released six CD productions under his name.

Awards
Schuman received a. a. four Grammy Awards together with Spyro Gyra for the albums Wrapped in a Dream, Good to Go-Go, A Night Before Christmas and Down the Wire .
