Tomasz Engel

Tomasz Engel (* 1955 ) is a Polish fencer and fencing trainer.

In the late 1970s and early 1980s he was a member of various Polish national teams in foil and epee fencing. His greatest success was silver with the team at the Universiade .

After completing his coaching studies, he coached the Polish national team with Artur Wojtyczka . He later became national trainer for the Polish wheelchair fencers, who won a silver medal in epee fencing at the 1996 Summer Paralympics in Atlanta.

Since 1997 he has worked as a trainer for the fencing department of TV Neheim and since 2000 also that of TV Soest .
