Tominaga Taro

Tominaga Tarō ( Japanese 富 永 太郎 ; * May 4, 1901 , † November 12, 1925 ) was a Japanese writer and translator.

Tominaga became known as the translator of Charles Baudelaire's poems . He was friends with Nakahara Chūya , whom he introduced to the works of Baudelaire, Paul Verlaines and Arthur Rimbauds . His own poems were collected by his friend Murai Michio and published in 1927 under the title Tominaga Tarō Shishū ( 富 永 太郎 詩集 ). Ōoka Shōhei published a biography of Tominagas. His brother Tominaga Jirō was also known as a writer.
