Tomohiko Murayama ( Japanese 村 山 智 彦 Murayama Tomohiko ; born August 22, 1987 in Ichihara ) is a Japanese football player .

Career

Murayama learned to play soccer on the school team at Funabashi High School and the university team at Shizuoka Sangyo University . He signed his first contract with Sagawa Shiga FC in 2010 . The club played in the third highest division in the country, the Japan Football League . In 2013 he moved to the second division Matsumoto Yamaga FC . In 2014 he was runner-up with the club in the J2 League and was promoted to the J1 League . For the club, he completed 85 first division games. In 2016 he moved to league competitor Shonan Bellmare. For the club, he completed 27 first division games. In 2017 he returned to the second division side Matsumoto Yamaga FC. In 2018 he became champion of the second division with the club and rose to the first division. At the end of the 2019 season, the club was relegated back to the second division.
