Arata learned to play football in the school team of Shimizu Higashi High School and the university team of Senshu University . He signed his first contract with Mito HollyHock in 2008 . The club played in the second highest league in the country, the J2 League . For the club he completed 76 league games. In 201 he moved to the first division side Júbilo Iwata . In 2010 he won the J.League Cup with the club . For the club he completed 26 first division games. In 2012 he moved to the second division team JEF United Chiba .
