Ton van Loon
Antonie Johannes Hendrikus ("Ton") van Loon (born October 10, 1956 in Weert ) is a Dutch officer. He is a lieutenant general of NATO and was there from November 1, 2006 to May 1, 2007 in control of the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF), Regional Command South (RC-S). From April 13, 2010 to September 25, 2013 he was in command of the 1st German-Dutch Corps .
Van Loon studied at the Koninklijke Militaire Academie . He is married and has two children.
