Tongchuan (Dazhou)

Tongchuan ( 通 川 区 , Tōngchuān Qū ) is a municipality in the prefecture -level city of Dazhou in the Chinese province of Sichuan . It had an area of ​​451 km² and had a population of around 390,000 (2004). On July 18, 2013, he was given the large municipalities of Beimiao 碑 庙镇 and Jiangling 江陵 镇 as well as the municipalities of Beishan 北 山乡, Anyun 安 云 乡, Zitong 梓 桐乡, Jinshi 金石 乡, Qingning 青 宁乡, Longtan 龙滩 乡 and Mengshuang 檬 双乡, which had previously been separated from the Da (达县) district. The former Da County was converted into what is now the Dachuan District . The capital and seat of government of the Tongchuan district is the Xiwai (西 外 镇) community.

Administrative structure

At the community level, the city district has been made up of three street districts , nine large municipalities and ten municipalities since July 18, 2013 .
