Tonie Lenz

Tonie Lenz (born September 6, 1988 in Göttingen ) is a German canoe athlete.

Lenz turned to canoeing from a young age and became a competitive athlete in canoe polo . Because of her success, she became a member of the German national team in canoe polo. At the World Games 2017 in Wroclaw , she and her team won first place and thus became world champion in this sport.

For this sporting achievement, she received the Silver Laurel Leaf from Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier on October 13, 2017 .
