Tonal accuracy

As Tonwertrichtigkeit (Engl. Accuracy of color value ) is defined as the property of photographic materials, all invisible portion of the light spectrum into corresponding gray values or colors implement.

History and Development

Full tonal accuracy was achieved in 1902 with panchromatic sensitization , but orthochromatic sensitization achieved an improvement over the older methods as early as 1873 .
