Tony Attanasi
Antonio Attanasi (born June 27, 1914 in Lecce ) is an Italian documentary and animation filmmaker.
Life
Attanasi was already a distinguished documentary filmmaker when he turned to animated films in the 1940s and contributed the corresponding sequences to a number of films. After five years of work, he finished his own film I picchiatelli in 1957 ; In 1961 he produced and directed the real film for children Pulcinella, cetrulo d'Acerra . At times he had founded the Alfabeta Film studio ; the planned feature film La montagna tonante was never completed.
