The Tophet Bastion is a striking, icy and 1.5 km long cliff with an upstream debris cone on the south coast of Coronation Island in the archipelago of the South Orkney Islands . It is located 1.5 km east of Saunders Point .
A rough mapping was done by participants in the British Discovery Investigations in 1933. The name was given by the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey after a survey from 1948 to 1949. The name is derived from the Canaanite cult site Tofet from the Tanach .
