The Tor des Géants is an ultra trail that has been taking place every autumn in the Aosta Valley since 2010 .

The name is Franco-Provençal and means "Tour of the Giants".

The start of the race is in Courmayeur in the uppermost section of the valley. The race consists of a single stage that can be completed in a maximum of 150 hours. The route goes over 330 kilometers with an altitude difference of 24,000 meters. It follows the two high routes on both sides of the Aosta Valley: first out of the valley on Haute Route n ° 2, which runs on the right side of the Dora Baltea , to the turning point in the valley and then back on the left mountain flank above the Dora Baltea of Haute Route n ° 1 to Courmayeur. The path crosses 25 mountain passes and reaches the highest point at around 3300 meters above sea level.

There are several food and aid posts along the route.

Since 2017, a shorter trail run has been carried out at the same time, which leads from Gressoney-Saint-Jean in only one direction to Courmayeur and therefore bears the name Tot dret (in German: “Straight ahead”).
