Toril Johannessen
Toril Johannessen (* 1978 in Harstad ) is a Norwegian visual artist.
life and work
Toril Johannessen began studying at the Bergen School of Art and Design in 2002 . In 2004 she completed a semester abroad at the Berlin-Weißensee School of Art in Berlin. From 2005 to 2006 she studied media studies at the University of Bergen , then for a semester at the Royal Danish Academy of Art in Copenhagen. In 2008, Johannessen obtained his master's degree . In 2011 she spent at the Mountain School of Arts in Los Angeles.
Photography, text, drawing, sculpture, storytelling and installation are some of the media that Toril Johannessen uses. It deals with scientific questions in empirical and theoretical studies.
