The Torre de Cerredo is with a height of 2648  msnm the highest mountain of the mountain massif Picos de Europa and the entire Cantabrian Mountains . It is located on the border of the provinces of Asturias and Castile-León , the highest mountain of which it is. The mountain can be climbed relatively easily via the Via Normal with a maximum difficulty of II on the UIAA scale . The starting point is at the foot of the eastern flank of the Torre Cerredo in the Jou de Cerredo. From the summit you have a view of the entire Massif Central.
