The Torre del Gaucho is a building in the Uruguayan capital, Montevideo .

The office building, visible from Plaza Independencia, is located in the barrio Centro just a few meters from the Palacio Municipal . There the building is located at the point where Avenida 18 de Julio curves to the northeast at the confluence of calle Constituyente .

The 27-storey building project, which was not implemented until 1995 but was designed by Walter Pintos Risso in 1974 , is 95 meters high.
