Torsa stenar: Faithful
The Treudd "Stora Drakarör" with the Domarring in the background

Torsa stenar near Almesåkra in northern Småland in Sweden is an Iron Age burial ground , about seven kilometers south of Nässjö . The facilities are located near a farm south of Lake Spexhultasjön . The burial ground, the older name of which is the great dragon rose , was restored in the 1930s.

It includes Sweden's largest completely preserved stone setting of the Treudd type with over 17 m long sides. This is a stone pavement made of pebbles the size of a head and made up of pebbles that are about the size of a head and are set by curbs and are about one meter higher than the surrounding area . The sides are curved inwards and the three narrow ends are marked with large blocks. A similar Treudd is to be found in the cemetery of Fördertofta .

There are three domar rings directly adjacent . The largest has nine stones. It was excavated in 1958. An urn with corpse burn and charcoal was found , which could be dated to 300 AD (late Roman Iron Age). The smaller rings have nine and seven stones. There are also three square stone settings on the burial ground. Another facility is a so-called Järnåldersdös , where one large stone lies on top of three smaller ones. There are also a number of round stone settings.
