Toshimi Kikuchi ( Japanese 菊池 利 三 , Kikuchi Toshimi ; born June 17, 1973 in Iwate Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player and coach.

Career

Kikuchi learned to play football on the school team at Tono High School . He signed his first contract with Verdy Kawasaki (today: Tokyo Verdy) in 1992 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . For the club, he completed 37 first division games. In 1997 he was loaned to the first division club Gamba Osaka . In 1998 he returned to Verdy Kawasaki . In 1999 he was loaned to the first division club Sanfrecce Hiroshima and Gamba Osaka. In 2000 he was loaned to the second division Omiya Ardija . In 2000 he returned to Verdy Kawasaki . At the end of 2002 he ended his career as a football player.
