Content and music video

The song was recorded in 1986 at Battery Studios in London . Touch Me (I Want Your Body) is about Samantha's search for a husband and her desire for sex .

The music video was shot in the spring of 1986. It shows how Samantha Fox and her band play the piece on a stage in front of their audience. In the video, Samantha Fox wears an open denim jacket and very tight jeans that are supposed to accentuate her curves and bum. While the band is playing in the background of the stage, Samantha Fox is dancing with two guitarists in the foreground . A few times Samantha goes straight into the audience and sings the song next to her fans. In one scene from the music video, a fan comes on stage and Samantha holds him tight and then pulls him over to her so that they both have physical contact, while both dancing and reenacting intimate sex . Then Samantha does the same to one of the guitarists. In some scenes in the video, paparazzi take photos of Samantha Fox, on which you can see her face and she fakes an orgasm . In another scene, Samantha swings through the audience with a rope. Samantha then wets her drummer with water.

The lyrics themselves contain many sexual allusions: "Like a tramp in the night, I was begging for you, to treat my body like you wanted to" and in the chorus "Touch me, touch me, I wanna feel your body, your heartbeat next to mine, touch me, touch me now! ”(German translation:“ Touch me, touch me, I want to feel your body, your heartbeat next to me, touch me, touch me now ”).
