Tour Granite is the name of a skyscraper in the La Défense office district in the Paris suburb of Nanterre . Together with the two neighboring Tours Chassagne et Alicante , it forms the Tours Société générale building ensemble , which is the headquarters of the French commercial bank Société Générale . At the time of its construction, the skyscraper, at 184 meters, was the fourth tallest building in La Défense. The skyscraper was built from 2005 to 2008. The office tower was designed by the architect Christian de Portzamparc . The Granite Tour has 36 floors above ground and seven floors below ground.

The office tower is the Metro station La Defense and the La Defense station to the public transport in the Paris bound.
