The Toyota Boshoku Corporation ( Japanese ト ヨ タ 紡織 株式会社 ) is a Japanese automotive supplier and part of the Toyota Group . The company's products include technical components such as air filters, sensors and lines for the intake air, but also interior panels, seat belts and bumpers. Toyota Boshoku also develops and manufactures seats for the automotive industry, as well as for aircraft and rail transport. The company was founded in 1918 by Toyoda Sakichi and dealt with textile manufacturing. Through mergers, the company's name was changed to Chuo Spinning Company, and in 1943 the company became a subsidiary of Toyota Motor Corporation.
