Traditio is an international scientific journal devoted to the study of ancient and medieval history, the history of ideas and ideas and religion. The magazine has been published annually since 1943 at Fordham University , a Catholic university in New York . The thematic focus is on the text edition and studies on history, literature, philosophy, theology and art history in the period from antiquity and early Christianity to the Middle Ages (up to approx. 1500). Although articles in other languages (German, French, Italian and Spanish) are also included, the journal publishes mainly in English.
