The Transform Acting School (own spelling: TRANS form Acting School) in Berlin was founded on January 15, 2002 by Janina Szarek . Both instructors and students come from Germany and abroad. The aim is to prepare students to work in the European market - especially in the film industry. The school is recognized by the state. It offers seven semesters (three and a half years) acting training for theater, film and television on a practice-oriented basis and ends with a diploma . The school has a 200 m² stage with 120 seats. Well-known graduates include Karolina Lodyga and Mehmet Bozdoğan .

Teatr Studio am Salzufer

This stage was opened under the patronage of the then Governing Mayor Klaus Wowereit on February 28, 2004 as Teatr Studio at Salzufer. Since then, own productions, European projects and guest performances from Germany and abroad have been regularly presented on the studio stage. The Teatr Studio am Salzufer is a venue for the German-Polish theater festival Kontrapunkt .

She cooperates and exchanges with European drama schools and theaters, especially with Polish partners. The school's international projects have so far been financially supported by the Berlin Senate , the Minister of State for Culture (the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media at the Federal Chancellor - BKM) and the Foundation for German-Polish Cooperation in Warsaw.

The International Theater Werkstatt (ITW) Berlin

The Internationale Theater Werkstatt (ITW) Berlin eV is the legal sponsor and the financial and organizational basis for the Transform Drama School and the Teatr Studio am Salzufer. The focus of the ITW lies in the organization of closer ties between artists from Eastern and Western Europe.

The ITW was founded in May 1999 by international theater and film artists. It organizes and supports European theater and film projects, especially German-Polish projects. It supports acting training on a European and international basis.
