The transformer station Prester is under monument protection standing transformer station in Magdeburg district Prester .
The building, which is still used today as a transformer station, was built around 1920 in today's Alt Prester street . The power supply was secured within a radius of 800 meters via the building. The transformer station was built on a circular floor plan as a plastered building with a height of about 6 meters. The facade of the home style finished structure is in a baroque- Lisenengliederung designed. There is a blown triangular gable above the entrance door . The roof is designed as a mansard roof .
A largely structurally identical transformer station is located a little further north in the Cracau district at the beginning of Pechauer Strasse .
