Publisher Janos Stekovics

The Janos Stekovics publishing house is a publishing house founded in 1992 from Dößel near Halle (Saale) . He specializes primarily in Central German regionalia and publishes non-fiction books on cultural and humanities as well as various series of publications.

Publishing history

The publishing house, which is named after its founder, the Hungarian-born János Stekovics (* 1959), started publishing brochures. In 1994 the first book was published. The main design features of most of the works are the elaborate illustrations and the extremely good workmanship. At the moment (July 2015) a total of more than 300 titles of the approximately 500 works published so far are available.
