Dieter Mucke

Dieter Mucke (born January 14, 1936 in Leipzig ; † March 12, 2016 in Halle (Saale) ) was a German poet and writer .

Life

He studied psychology , photography , camera and literature at the University of Leipzig , the Leipzig University of Graphics and Book Art , the Babelsberg Film School and the Leipzig Institute for Literature . For political reasons he was evicted , arrested and rehabilitated after 1989 in 1957, 1963 and 1965 . Among other things, he published critical texts on the subject of book destruction and cultural policy . From 1991 to 1994 he was a member of the National Executive Committee of the Association of German writers , today ver.di . He was also a member of the PEN Center Germany .

Dieter Mucke had close relationships with the writers Reinhard Bernhof , Volker Ebersbach and Kristian Pech since the 1970s , with whom he published the unofficial publications Colonnade in 1985/1986 . Waiting room for new literature (draft title by Hans Scheuerecker ) and wrote environment sheets together with Sylvia Kabus and other authors .
