Trust Grundmann

Traute Grundmann (born September 20, 1939 in Nienburg / Weser ; † February 9, 2005 there ) was a German politician ( CDU ).

Life

Grundmann graduated from secondary school and began training in rural housekeeping and estate management. She is a graduate of the women's college in Kassel (Mathilde Zimmer Foundation).

Since 1974 she was a member of the CDU. She was deputy chairwoman of the CDU district association in Hanover. She was also the chairwoman of the local DRK association in Nienburg. In addition, she was chairwoman of the Nienburg women's refuge and chairwoman of the German-Foreign Friendship Association in Nienburg. Grundmann was a member of the church council “St. Martin ”in Nienburg and patron of the Nienburger Tafeln.

Traute Grundmann was elected councilor of the city of Nienburg in 1981. In 1989 she became a member of the district council of the Nienburg district and chairwoman of the district school committee. In the Nienburg council she was deputy chairwoman of the school committee.

Grundmann was elected for the first time in the twelfth electoral term as a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament from January 1, 1992 to June 20, 1994. She succeeded in being re-elected in the thirteenth and fourteenth electoral terms, so that she remained a member of the state parliament until 2003.

On May 23, 1994 she was a member of the 10th Federal Assembly .
