Trelleborg AB , based in Trelleborg, is a Swedish , global plastics group. The company's products, which originally went back to a rubber factory, include damping and sealing systems and tires for commercial vehicles . In 2018, the Trelleborg Group achieved a turnover of around 34 billion Swedish kronor, around 3.32 billion euros, with around 24,000 employees. The company is represented in 50 countries. Trelleborg shares have been listed on the Stockholm Stock Exchange since 1964. President and CEO is Peter Nilsson, the Supervisory Board is headed by Hans Biörck.

In 1999, the division established a joint venture with the Italian Pirelli group . Trelleborg has been the sole owner of the license rights for the TM profiles of Pirelli agricultural tires since 2001 . Pirelli continued to produce its tires under the profile name PHP. In November 2015 Trelleborg announced that it would take over the Czech tire manufacturer ČGS for 1.16 billion euros.

Because of price agreements and the division of the market for marine hoses from 1986 to 2007 with four other manufacturers ("marine hose cartel") Trelleborg had to pay a fine of 24.5 million euros to the European Union.
