Internet Security (known in Australia as PC-Chillin Internet Security and in Japan as Virus Buster) is a PC security package designed for private users , which was developed by the Japanese software manufacturer Trend Micro . The program includes an antivirus , web threat protection, browser - cookie removal and a firewall .

Efficiency
The program version 2012 was checked by the virus test laboratory AV-Test. 99.25% of all pests could be recognized. When eliminating active malware, the program shows weaknesses and was only able to eliminate 80.7%. Rootkit removal turned out to be average with a removal rate of 92.9%. Overall, the program received a good rating.

As an additional requirement for the use of Trend Micro Internet Security 2014 with Microsoft Windows which applies browser usage of Internet Explorer 7.0 or higher or the latest version of Mozilla Firefox or from Google Chrome . In addition, a monitor with a high-color display and a resolution of at least 800 × 480 pixels or higher (desktop), at least 1024 × 768 pixels (Windows Store) or at least 1366 × 768 pixels or higher (Snap View) is required .
Mac OS users need either Apple Safari 5.1 or higher or a current version of Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome as a browser .
