Tribe After Tribe (sometimes called The Tribe ) is a South African rock band that was formed in 1984 and has since released six studio albums.
history
The band was founded in 1984 by guitarist Robby Robb, who had previously played with the Asylum Kids . The first album, Power , was initially released locally but was later released on EMI . After the release, the band moved to Los Angeles , where they still exist today. The following self-titled album was released on Atlantic Records , Love Under Will in 1993 on Megaforce Records . In 2003 the band played at the Rock Hard Festival .
style
The band plays mostly medium tempo rock influenced by styles like grunge , alternative rock , funk and world music .
