Life

Trifon was born according to the Julian calendar on February 1, 1928 in the chapel of St. Trifon in the village of Karabunar. He studied singing with the Bulgarian opera singer Christo Brambarow. However, he did not succeed in asserting himself as a singer in operas and operettas, so he ended up in film. Acting skills were also required, which enabled him to take part in over 19 Bulgarian films, including Love, Car and Music , My Friend, the Pirate and King for a day .

Together with Stilian Kunew , Christo Rykow and Konstantin Hadschikostow , Dschonew was a member of the well-known quartet Bufosinchronisti ( Bulgarian Буфосинхронисти ) from 1958 , which played music theater in addition to several hits. The quartet was known beyond the country's borders and toured 39 countries for several years, where they also played in front of presidents such as Khrushchev and Brezhnev . They were among the most famous musical groups in Bulgaria.
