Trikel houses

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In the Batschka, farms were called Trikelhäuser , in which the roasted hemp straw from the farmers was deforested.

These companies usually worked for wages. Their product was the so-called swing hemp , which the commissioning farmers then marketed themselves.

This type of business originated in Batschka at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries and existed until 1945.
