Triopetra ( Greek Τριόπετρα , three stone ') is the name of a cape and a small settlement named after it on the south coast of the Greek island of Crete . The settlement, which consists of a few houses, is located between Agia Fotini and Agios Pavlos west of the headland of Triopetra on a wide sand-pebble beach. The coastal strip belongs to the area of the municipality of Lambi of the municipality of Agios Vasilios .

The cape takes its name from a rock formation reaching into the sea, here a bed of diagonally layered plate-shaped sediments runs out into three isolated rocks in the Libyan Sea . The settlement consists of several taverns, holiday homes and a yoga center. To the east of Triopetra there is another beach with a tavern.

Triopetra can be reached via paved access roads from Spili via Kerames or from Agios Pavlos. The road to Plakias via Preveli has been almost asphalted since 2006, but the asphalting is interrupted over a distance of around five kilometers. Nevertheless, the road is almost always passable.
