Trist Ethan Curless (* Cheyenne , Wyoming ) is an American jazz singer.
Life
Curless studied music at the University of Northern Colorado with a focus on music education. In 1995 he founded the singing group m-Pakt, for which he wrote, arranged and also produced songs. He also worked as a sound engineer for formations such as Pentatonix, Straight No Chaser and Take 6 . In addition to appearances with Bobby McFerrin , he replaced Tim Hauser, who died in 2014, at Manhattan Transfer .
