Trophée des Gastlosen
The Trophée des Gastlosen ( French for trophy of the Gastlosen ) is the name of a popular and competitive ski mountaineering race in the Swiss region of Jaun , which has been held annually in the Gastlosen chain since 1993 .
The history of the sporting event goes back to Erhard Loretan's idea, born in 1987, to host the Patrouille des Poyets . Since 1995, the event has been part of the Swiss Cup in ski mountaineering ( Cup Coupe Suisse de Ski Alpinisme ) for competitive ski mountaineers , was already part of the World Cup in ski mountaineering and in 2002 it was part of the Trophée des Alpes .

A long route (course A) and a short route (course B) are offered. The long route begins and ends in Jaun and includes a total ascent height of 2190 m and a total descent height of 2230 m. The starting point for the participants of the short route is in Abländschen . Both routes lead over the summit of the Wandflue (2133 m).
