Troy Tomlin

Troy Tomlin is a US American football trainer.

career

From August 1992 to November 1994 Tomlin worked at Simpson College (US state Iowa ) as an assistant coach, where he was responsible for the defense players.

Between 1994 and 2000 Tomlin was the Braunschweig Lions  Defense Coordinator under head coach Kent Anderson . During this time Braunschweig won the German championship in 1997, 1998 and 1999 as well as the Eurobowl in 1999 . After Anderson's move to Hamburg, Tomlin became Braunschweig's head coach from the 2001 season and initially held this position until the end of the 2004 game year. In 2003 the Lower Saxony won the Eurobowl under Tomlin's leadership, in 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2004 he reached the final of the German championship with Braunschweig, but lost each time (three times against the Hamburg Blue Devils , once against the Berlin Adler ).

Following the end of his first term in Braunschweig in 2004, Tomlin returned to the United States and was responsible for coordinating attacks on the university team at Westminster College ( Missouri ) from August 2005 to November 2012 .

For the 2013 game year Tomlin returned to Braunschweig as head coach. In 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2019, the team became German champions under his leadership, and German runner-up in 2017. In 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 they won the Eurobowl.
