Trude's beast
Trudes Tier is a German animation series that has been broadcast on the TV series Die Sendung mit der Maus since 2014 . The main characters of the series are Trude , a completely normal woman, and a strange creature without a name who lives with Trude ( Trude's animal ). It is big, very strong, has a child's mind and doesn't know what to do.
The series is produced by Studio Soi on behalf of WDR . The script is by Marcus Sauermann , the speakers for the title roles are Bernhard Hoëcker (Tier) and the actress Ruth Macke (Trude). The premiere in the show with the mouse was on April 27, 2014.
All episodes are on the app of the program with the mouse available "The Mouse".

In the episodes "Snowman" and "Pflaster" one learns indirectly that Trude is a pediatric nurse. In the episode "Fireworks" you get to know Trude's friend Thorsten, who also plays a role again in the episode "Niesen".
- animal
You don't find out where the animal comes from. Even in the opening credits, the animal should show where it came from on the globe. But it denies on all continents that it comes from there. In the episode "Nachts" Trude asks where the animal comes from exactly. In response, she gets stammered sentences with the denial that the animal just didn't know either.
The animal especially likes to play cowboy.
Trivia
As a running gag in the various episodes, the animal's saying "Since where I come from ..." appears again and again. In the episode "Bagger" the principle is reversed. A construction worker says to the animal "Where I come from ...".
Awards
On September 26, 2019, Trudes Tier was awarded the 36th Robert Geisendörfer Prize , the media prize of the Evangelical Church. Marcus Sauermann and Henrike Vieregge received the award in the “Children's TV Prize” category.
