The Río Trueba , with its length of only 48 kilometers an insignificant river in the province of Burgos in the autonomous community of Castile and Leon . It rises on the south side of the Cantabrian Coast Mountains and flows into the Río Nela about five kilometers south of the city of Medina de Pomar , which in turn flows into the Ebro from the north .
