Tschulymer

The Turkic Chulymer are a Turkic-Tatar ethnic group in southern Siberia . Their language is the Chulymic language .

The southeastern groups of Siberian Tschulym- or Meletzker- Tatars were to the 20th century Khakassians allocated and understood possibly as such. They are made up of the subgroups Küerik , Kecik / Kezik and the actual Tschulym . In 1986 this group numbered 639 people.

Today, as an independent ethnic group, they are among the indigenous peoples of the Russian north, Siberia and the Russian Far East .
