Tsuyoshi Shimamura ( Japanese 島村 毅 Shimamura Tsuyoshi ; born August 10, 1985 in Saitama Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .

Career

Shimamura learned to play football on the university team at Waseda University . He signed his first contract with Shonan Bellmare in 2008 . The club played in the second highest league in the country, the J2 League . At the end of the 2009 season, the club rose to the J1 League . For the club he completed 45 league games. In 2011 he was loaned to the second division side Tokushima Vortis . For the club he completed 25 league games. In 2012 he returned to the second division club Shonan Bellmare. In 2012 he was runner-up in the J2 League with the club and was promoted to the J1 League. At the end of the 2013 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League. In 2014 he was with the club master of the J2 League and rose again to the J1 League. At the end of the 2016 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League. In 2017 he became champion of the J2 League with the club and rose again to the J1 League. In 2018 he won the J.League Cup with the club . For the club, he completed 130 league games. At the end of 2018 he ended his career as a football player.
