history
The men's soccer team played mostly in the Ostfriesland district league until the mid-1990s and made it through to the fifth-highest division by the mid-2000s. Several former men’s players and also talented former A-Juniors from Kickers Emden , who could not assert themselves there in the first men’s team or saw the prospect of doing so, switched to the neighboring club in Pewsum. Since the 2009/10 season, the TuS played a class lower in the Landesliga Weser / Ems , from which they had to relegate in 2015.
The home venue is the “Stadion an der Olympiastraße”, which has a covered grandstand for a few hundred spectators.
