Tujilane Chizumila
Tujilane Rose Chizumila (born May 14, 1953 in Zomba , Malawi ) is a Malawian lawyer . From 2017 to 2023 she is a judge at the African Court of Human Rights and the Rights of the Peoples (ACHPR) of the African Union (AU).

Chizumila holds a master's degree in international law and has held various positions in courts and administration. Among other things, she was a judge at the Supreme Court of Malawi, prosecutor and legal aid lawyer at the Ministry of Justice , and the country's first ombudswoman .
Chizumila was elected in January 2017 for a six-year term as judge at the African Court of Human and Peoples' Rights in Arusha , Tanzania .
Chizumila speaks Swahili , English and German .
