Tulechov

The lords of Tulechov (also Tulechow, Tulechau ; Czech z Tulechova ) are a Bohemian noble family.

The name Tulechow was first mentioned in 1394 when the Bohemian village "Tulchowen", which was later referred to as Tunkau or Tunkov , belonged to the Cistercian monastery Waldsassen . In 1497 the Tulechov were included in the Vladikestand . Members of the aristocratic Tulechov family held important royal Bohemian state offices since the 16th century.

In the 17th century the sex was divided into two branches of the family, but their cohesion broke apart due to the subsequent political events.
