history
The first written mention of the village was in 1238 in connection with a "Swidger de Warta". There has been evidence of customs receipts in Warta since 1341. In 1352 Wartha belonged to the estates of Perštejn Castle ; At that time the owner was Friedrich von Schönburg . Since 1488 the village belonged to the counts of Vitzthum and was part of their rule Egerberg .
From 1850 Warta / Varta formed a political municipality in the Kaaden district . Between 1870 and 1873 the Buschtěhrad Railway Company (BEB) built the route from Komotau to Eger along the Eger , with which Warta received a railway connection.
In 1921 the Czech name Stráž was created. As a result of the Munich Agreement , it was annexed to the German Reich in 1938. In 1939 there were 773 people in Warta. From 1938 to 1945 Warta was part of the German district of Kaaden and came back to Czechoslovakia after the end of the Second World War. In 1950 Osvinov was incorporated. From 1949 to 1960 the municipality Stráž nad Ohří belonged to the Okres Karlovy Vary-okolí and since 1961 to the Okres Karlovy Vary. 1960 Korunní was incorporated with the districts Kamenec and Korunní Kyselka. In 1976 Boč including Himlštejn, Hrachová, Malý Hrzín, Peklo, Smilov and Srní was added.
From 1942 to 1944, the Krondorf-Sauerbrunn satellite camp was located in Korunní Kyselka . Today the mineral water producer Karlovarská Korunní Kyselka sro is based there.
As part of the downsizing of the Hradiště military training area, the Korunní Kyselka settlement was attached to Stráž nad Ohří in January 2015.
