The Tummel Bridge is a road bridge near Loch Tummel in the Scottish Council Area Perth and Kinross . In 1971 the bridge was included in the Scottish Monument List in the highest monument category A.

description

The masonry viaduct was initiated as part of a military road by Field Marshal George Wade and completed around 1743. Later the bridge led the B846 over the Tummel, which today uses an adjacent new building.

The quarry stone structure spans the Tummel near the Tummel hydropower plant with two unequal segment arches , of which the northern one is significantly smaller. The upstream, pointed icebreaker on the bridge pillar is extremely long.
