Montrichard Val de Cher is a French commune with 3,810 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Loir-et-Cher in the region Center-Val de Loire . It belongs to the arrondissement Romorantin-Lanthenay and the canton of Montrichard .
It was created with effect from January 1, 2016 as Commune nouvelle by merging the previous municipalities of Montrichard and Bourré , which have the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality . The administrative headquarters are in Montrichard.

Montrichard Val de Cher is located about 32 kilometers south-south-west of Blois am Cher , which borders the municipality in the south, and is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Vallières-les-Grandes in the north and northwest, Pontlevoy in the north and northeast, Monthou-sur-Cher in the east, Angé in the southeast, Saint-Julien-de-Chédon in the south, Faverolles-sur-Cher in the south and southwest and Chissay-en-Touraine in the west.
