Pierrefitte-sur-Sauldre is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Chaon in the north, Brinon-sur-Sauldre in the east, Souesmes in the south, Salbris in the south-west, Nouan-le-Fuzelier in the west and Vouzon in the north-west.
