Pouillé is located about 29 kilometers south-southwest of Blois on the Cher River , which borders the municipality to the north and northeast. Pouillé is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Monthou-sur-Cher in the north, Thésée in the east and northeast, Mareuil-sur-Cher in the south, Céré-la-Ronde in the southwest and Angé in the west.
